Plaintiff Employment Litigation Associate

El Segundo, CA - Onsite/ Hybrid (DOE)

A well-established plaintiff-side employment law boutique in El Segundo is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate with 1-7 years of experience to join its growing practice. Associates are given meaningful responsibility and are deeply involved in all aspects of litigation, including strategy, discovery, depositions, court appearances, mediation, and settlement.

Qualifications

  • 1-7 years of meaningful litigation experience, BIG PLUS for a focus on wage & hour class actions and/or PAGA
  • Experience in California state and federal courts
  • Proven ability to:
    • Take and defend depositions
    • Handle court appearances
    • Draft pleadings, motions, mediation briefs, and settlement agreements
  • Strong client advocacy and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and support partners at a high level
  • Open to candidates from plaintiff or defense backgrounds

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $120,000 - $220,000 (DOE)
